Supported worlds & map accuracy
What MCSeedLore can calculate, how to read the results, and where the current release has limits.
Match the current engine capabilities
Available game versions: Java 1.20.6, 1.21.1, 1.21.3 · Bedrock 1.21.0. Java maps include the Overworld, Nether and End. Supported versions, dimensions, biomes and structures differ by edition; use the available choices in the map controls.
The Java structure catalog includes 20 structure types. Some layers apply only to specific versions and dimensions; a candidate is not proof of complete generation. Custom world generators, large biomes and modified generation settings are not supported.
Bedrock computation is experimental and has not been validated against independent generated game worlds. Native and WebAssembly agreement does not establish in-game accuracy. Bedrock strongholds and spawn are not supported. Check the validation status in the tool and confirm important locations in game.
Coordinates are starting points for exploration
Village and stronghold markers predict structure starts. They do not identify individual buildings, entrances or portal rooms, and do not include a structure height. The spawn marker is an estimate of world spawn, not your bed or personal respawn point.
Terrain uses estimated heights and does not render individual blocks, trees, buildings or player changes. Peaks and shorelines can differ from the game. Biome view samples at Y=63; this is not a safe teleport height.
Biome search returns a confirmed sample point within a bounded search, not a guaranteed nearest boundary. Small areas can be missed. A slime chunk result identifies the chunk rule only; other in-game spawning conditions still apply.
Validation and limitations
The engine is checked against native and WebAssembly fixtures, official game data and a limited set of independently published examples. This does not establish that every seed has been checked in a generated Minecraft world. Confirm important locations in game before relying on them.
Map computation runs in your browser. Large searches and detailed views can take longer on slower devices. The tool does not read or modify your world files.
